it's a very hot day again. i can't decide whether to blame the hot lunch i jus had, my long hair, or the sun outside for all this heat. but i guess it's all of the above. happy birthday sarah, sorry i couldnt make it in the morn, 830 is really abit early. haha. hope u'll have a great day ahead! i was at saac yest, the whole school went on an outing to discovery centre (which is often confused with science centre. and then they say it's actually the same thing. sigh nevermind.). it was alot of fun, really, not the exhibits la, the students we brought there. and to see so many helpers--volunteers, family members, domestic helpers--caring for them, it's really quite touching. it makes things more meaningful. and when i saw how the mothers actually bond together, i realise the nobility of these parents, and of those who send them to the school to be educated. i really believe there's a hope in every single one of them to make good of himself/herself, and i think this is wat drives the teachers and therapists, who are really loving towards the students. they really know each and every single one of them, which is sweet. after we took a trip back to the school my teammates and i had a meeting, for next week's picnic, on planning games. it's really nice to see them fired up for it, planning and discussing, and sharing experiences. woohoo. i think this holidays might be more fruitful than the last, where i spent it all abroad being not very productive.

met my filming kids yesterday, to pass them the vid and some photos. oh gosh, they're the cutest. we surprised the jiejie outside her learning lab, it was real funny to see her reaction when she saw us. had fun playing with her and her mei mei, who was really, really cute, while the uncle talked to their mum. but very tiring la. it was like, children's day yesterday, to quote my dad. totally zonked after meeting them. dang it, we shld visit them more often. before i get too old and my joints dun allow me to keep half-kneeling to talk to them.

celebrated may's birthday with her the previous night, a very last minute plan, but it was good. haha, the birthday girl had celebrations from the previous weekend, till this one, all except on the day itself. sorry ah, guys, she was reserving the day to date yours truly. haha. topic of the night: a 75bucks watch from sneaky origins. i shall wait for more updates. -rubs hands with glee- is it the season or wat.



OH. please go to vila'ges (how do u spell it) for the waffles with mangoes and ask for maple walnut ice cream. plus chocolate sauce and wat toppings they have there. REALLY. GOOD. ask joce. we had it after meeting mab for brunch at ikea. which consisted of ten swedish meatballs and some potatoes, and lots of dirt. from us girls. terrrrrible beings, we. di's in spain! okay tell me, who's surprised. miss u, stop flying around, come back soon.

i'm feeling this joy within me, bursting, despite circumstances, despite the fact that i've got 2 huge zits on my face and a healing one on my nose. i like this feeling. when you really get intimate with God, admitting all your weaknesses, and knowing that He loves you no matter what, it just releases you. and it feels great. it doesn't make you perfect, but the trust just lifts the burdens. and you can't help but smile and sing. it doesnt even matter if you sing off key. cos He looks at the heart. the heart of worship. woohoo! :)
